A little talk about Kanamaster's history

Kanamaster's original idea goes back to 1985, when in Havana City, Cuba, a group of friends with common interests gathered to create the very first version of their own stories, parodies and much humor. Their aim was to communicate social topics through videos and radio programs. Characters like Jimmy and his SovRap; the impossible love between Diego an Pitoxia; the stories and incomparable voice of Norman or he was refered to, Mr. President, who was also in charge of "technical things", providing the team with all kind of "devices" and inventions to create contents; and Mr. Klaspp with his fruitful imagination conceiving and performing the scripts, conform the first period.

Then came the second period: Esteban Quintana joined the team and so did Little Albert. In that way, the team not only continued its work with video or radio programs with the situations of their characters, but also covered professional tasks such as reports of cultural events and presentations, where unexpectedly, they started to perform their characters.

After this, a long period of quietness came. An inactivity period. Kanamaster's members went out of the island into different directions. However, at the end of 2005 and the beginning of 2006, they got in touch again and the wishes to give life to the team was heard once more, now with better resources and experiences. Despite the distance and the different time zones, the first online conference was held. So they took this moment as a new starting point.

Kanamaster is back. Now with a wide range of cultural, didactic, social, promotional and entertainment production experience. A good starting point and basis to create new proposals, mixing as usual the professional know-how, the creativity, the opinion exchange and the habitual ingredient: the Cuban humor.
